I Cannot Be SadMy beloved mother passed away a few months ago. My brothers and sisters have gone through some sad emotions as they contemplate the loss of this woman to the World and to our Family.

Yet while I consider that I will never see her again, I cannot be sad... for she lives on in my life having lovingly and devotedly laying the foundation of my emotional being by her example. And what better teacher could a child have than a living example?

Yes, I am Obsessedby ~Ultraviolet-Oasis

I have found that I need to follow my own advice. I have always tried to produce artworks (that is, prose) just for my own pleasure and then display them. If any of them make a splash, that's nice... but not necessary.

I was very hesitant to post this one. The level of expertise that I display is painfully rudimentary when compared to nearly all the works here on DA. Nonetheless, I am pleased with the result. My intention was to indulge my obsessions and make a wallpaper just for my own use.

I am obsessed with several things displayed here: 1) Anya Uribe's inks, 2) Black women, 3) coloring inks using Photoshop, 4) composing wallpapers, and 5) astronomical images.

As all true artists, I should not overtly concern myself with acceptance by others. I am always grateful for those who do like my work; for I have found a kindred spirit. And who can have enough kindred spirits in their life?

I believe that I have said all that I need to say regarding my decision to post this. It is not as though I am the first one to have a recurring theme to some aspect of my artwork.
